Come learn the ins and outs of back country packing with Lisa Barnes who has over 40 years of experience. In this clinic you will learn:

How to prepare a horse to pack

Safety and do’s and don’ts of packing

How to properly make loads

Knot tying

Backcountry gear essentials, safety, and tips

And much more!

You do not need to bring a horse to participate in this class. All students will learn on Lisa’s horses. No experience necessary and all levels welcome. Limited to 6 students.

*Regular 5 day pass to Art of the Cowgirl January 18th-22nd is included in this workshop fee. Participants’ names will automatically be added to the will call list and you can redeem at the gate*
